The Scoop: Marvin Sapp Requests Prayer For His Wife Malinda's Illness

I just got word of this via Facebook, and I had to spread the word...Today the following message was placed on the Official Marvin Sapp Facebook Page, requesting that everyone pray for the healing of his wife Malinda:

Join the family of faith tonight in corporate prayer for Dr. MaLinda P Sapp wife of Dr. Marvin L. Sapp as we believe God for total and complete healing. Call in at 712 432 0075 then the code 653542#. Please pass this along to 10 praying people. Ep 3:20

On marvinsapp.com, the flyer shown above was posted, stating that until recently, a specialist indicated her infirmity was resolved, but now she has been advised it is "now trying to resurface".

In April of 2009, Dr. Malinda Sapp was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, which is the most advanced stage of the disease, usually meaning that the cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes and other parts of the body. This needless to say, is a very serious condition.

However, Marvin and his church family are not surrendering to the illness. Instead, they called for 24 hours of prayer today, and invited those who wished to pray corporately to join a conference call at 6pm this evening. As part of a strong prayer life, we should always pray for those in leadership positions around the world, and this is a great time to exercise that principle. Please pray for this woman of God, (and her husband Marvin as well) as soon as you can...
